Yahweh

I found this lovely song at the weekend. I feel it takes its theme from John 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

To manifest (emphanizō) is to reveal, appear, come into view and make known. We know from Scripture that the Spirit within the man Jesus was that of Yahweh, the almighty God and our Father. He was and is the God who spoke to Abraham and released Israel from the bonds of Egypt. He now brings salvation and will soon return as Jesus to rule this world as King.

But when we accept Him now as our King in our daily lives and follow His commandments to put Him first above ourselves and our desires and love others as He loves them, He manifests and appears in our lives as our salvation.

Salvation in the Old Testament Hebrew (yesua) is safety, welfare, prosperity, deliverance and victory - It is Jesus. There is salvation in no other name (Acts 4:12). And even in Isaiah 43:11 it is clearer, "I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me, there is no saviour." Your Bible rewrites God's Name (YHWH or Yahweh) as LORD. He is the one we are to worship daily, praise daily and give thanks to daily and then only He (Yahweh, Rapha, Elohim, Shaddai, Jireh, Adonai) will manifest Himself in our lives as our God, King, protector, saviour, healer, and provider.

He is my healer, provider and saviour. Praise and thanks be to our Almighty God, Yahweh and our King, Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God!

The Bible - Handbook to Life

Some say that life didn’t come with a manual but it did. The Holy Bible is your handbook to life from beginning to end. Not only that but it gives you all the answers to where you came from, why everything happens in the world and what happens to you in the next world. In this brief article, I will show you why it is the only authority to be trusted, how it can be used to test and prove all things and how the Bible can change your life forever. Take hold of your Bible, your handbook to life, and follow me through as we take a look at it together. What is the Bible? The Bible is not one book, it is a collection of 66 books and letters. These books were written by different authors over a period of at least 1,400 years. However, all these books tie together and provide one central message, the Kingdom of God and your part in it. Without going into too much technical detail, the books in our Bibles were translated from ancient manuscripts. You can view a complete list of versions and h

Tithing - Is it a requirement?

A Tithe = a tenth. Although Jesus makes a reference to the tithe of the priests (Matthew 23:23), the tithe is only mentioned in detail in the Old Testament. Never is any reference to a tithe made in relation to the Christian believer under the New Covenant. A tithe is first mentioned when Abram gave a tenth of his spoils of war to a Melchizedek, a Priest-King of righteousness and peace. This was a one-off offering given without pressure or commandment. These were not his own possessions, increase or earnings but plunder taken from others (Heb 7:4). In fact, Abram also returned the rest of the spoils back to the Kings he took them from so that they could not say that they had made him rich. Jacob also volunteered a tenth of all God gave to him. Both Jacobs and Abrams's gifts of a tithe were voluntary and never commanded or compelled by God or anyone else. There were 4 main tithe laws in the Old Testament: A tithe to the Levites as their inheritance as they had no land allocated to

The Gospel - Explained

The Gospel is a central message in Christianity and in fact, the whole Bible. Understanding its meaning is essential for anyone seeking to know God and follow Jesus. In this short guide of The Gospel - Explained, we will explore what the gospel is. You will discover its most basic definition and its message using quotes from the scripture that Jesus and the apostles would have used and the records from them in the New Testament. Above all, this page will be a witness to you. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matt 24:14 Definition: What is the Gospel? The word "gospel" comes from the Old English word "Godspell," which means "good news." The Gospel refers to the salvation that God offers to humanity through Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the proclamation of the good news of the coming Kingdom of God and that Jesus, the Son of God, has come to reconcile sinners to God t
